Being responsible for a team of housekeeping staff, you will, working closely with the General Manager to ensure that the team operates safely and efficiently at all times. You will be responsible for ensuring that they have a comprehensive induction, and that they have regular on going training.

You will have obsessive attention to detail, to ensure that our customers have an outstanding experience on every occasion.  You will have interaction with guests on a regular basis, therefore will need to have excellent customer service skills, to anticipate and deliver customer needs.

As part of the management team, you will work closely with your colleagues to ensure that the overall customer experience is seamless.

We are currently looking for a Stock Auditor to support our existing team, on an initial fixed term 3 month basis. The ideal candidate will be required to provide an accurate and cost effective stocktaking / auditing service, with results produced and discussed on site, and recommendations made as necessary to improve the Units operational controls.

KEY JOB ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:-

To Carry out the tasks required as defined in the general specifications for both liquor and food stocktaking/Auditing, to include but not limited to:-

• Arrive at the required site at the specified time
• Carry out a physical count of all products required : liquor / food etc
• Reconciliation of deliveries, cash and revenue
• Produce computerised results
• Do any necessary re-counts to ensure accuracy
• Produce a variance report to itemised tills where available
• Analyse information and identify problems and opportunities
• Complete an exception report / risk model as required
• Discuss key issues with site managers
• Send required information to the Units and Central office
• Read all memos and acknowledge via the designated route
• Communicate with Line Manager regularly
• Identify any training needs
• Highlight any sales opportunities
• Follow all company procedures
• Support all members of the team


ESSENTIAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:-
• A good understanding of Maths and English
• Can demonstrate good interpersonal skills at all levels
• Competent in Microsoft Packages, Excel in particular
• Preferably will have experience in stock-taking or accountancy roles
• Excellent communicator and team player


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:-

Key Focuses:

Line manager to 15 strong club staff and bussing team with associated responsibilities of shift scheduling and maintenance of agreed wage targets as set by the GM.

Ensures the smooth service of the nightclub and event spaces, handling enquiries and complaints in accordance with G1 Group and Arta internal communications policies.  This is a diverse role which includes running a busy nightclub, private dining areas and unique events.

Responsible for maximising the customer experience and maintaining standards of excellence in accordance with G1 Group 'Aiming for Excellence' policies.

Responsible for the growth of sales in the club and events side of the business with the assistance of the GM, Deputy GM and Sales Manager.

Working closely with the Sales Manager to create and promote unique events and nights throughout the venue

Maintains ownership of the club and functions side of the business by liaising closely with the GM and Deputy GM on items such maintenance, purchasing and operational issues.

Ensures protection of the companies license by adhering to the licensing regulations at all times.

Reports all incidents and operational issues to the GM and/or Deputy GM without fail to preserve the customers expectations of G1 Group as market leaders in the hospitality sector.

Main Purpose of Job`

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this is a key role within the central marketing and sales department for Scotland’s leading independent bar, restaurant, club, cinema and hotel group.

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of innovative and creative marketing ideas and working with venues to actively develop events and activities to drive sales within a wide variety of niche and leading edge marketplaces.

The role requires an understanding of traditional and new media as well as the wide variety of marketing tools available. In addition, a well developed understanding and keen interest in the trends and ‘movements’ in the areas of music, fashion, socialising and eating out are essential.

This role requires a dynamic individual with enthusiasm and drive for both marketing and the licensed trade and to be able to interpret customer requirements and build our activity around them whilst ensuring that any potential solutions are thought through, receive buy-in from operators and are impactful, practical, cost effective and appropriate to deliver.

Whilst the main activities will centre on creative marketing and implementation, there will also be a necessity to support the Director of Marketing with the organisation and day to day running of the department.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

•  Create and manage unit specific marketing plans
• Running regular marketing focus groups to explore niche market needs and also to innovate within the bar, restaurant, club and cinema sectors 
• Work with key alcohol brands and sponsorship partners to develop activity and events that drive brand sales while maximising on venue turnover
• Working as a member of the new venue development and opening team to create cutting edge new units for the company’s portfolio
• Coordinate central department functions including the on-line, marketing, sales and design teams
• To take ownership of specific areas of marketing within the in-house department in terms of briefing requirements and ensuring that cost efficiency/value is achieved.
• Analysis and decision making based on post promotional campaign data
• Coordination of press and media relations

Qualifications & Experience:

• A degree in Marketing
• Experience working at the ‘customer face’ within the leisure market
• Minimum of three years experience at a marketing executive level planning and implementing marketing and sales plans preferably with in the licensed trade or similar sector

JOB PROFILE DETAILS:-

Head Chef

As Head Chef you will be a determined and self motivated individual with a high level of organisational skill within a busy kitchen environment. You will have the necessary skills to ensure compliance with the latest up to date legislation on food safety and health & safety issues as well having a degree of understanding with respect to running your own brigade.

Your remit will cover the recruitment and development of your own team through the framework of the companies’ induction programme and open doors training programme; produce the required gross profit margin for the business using the companies’ benchmarks; prepare and present food to spec. using the companies’ manuals and supply partners; attend head chef meetings and departmental briefings where appropriate; to be fully aware of all reporting procedures, fire policy and COSHH assessments.
