GENERAL MANAGER – Multi-Site Venue

A unique opportunity has arisen within G1 Group to manage one of our flagship and Glasgow’s leading venues. A primarily food and liquor led venue with a strong event and corporate business market. The ideal candidate will be experienced in all these aspects and able to lead a large team in delivering an outstanding customer experience.

As General Manager of this multi-site venue you will be challenged with managing all aspects of the Unit and encouraged to develop the business as if it were your own.

This exciting role involves developing sales; ensuring costs are effectively controlled, whilst ensuring staff are consistently and regularly trained to deliver an outstanding experience to our customers on every occasion. 

As General Manager, you will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Licensing and Health & Safety legislation. 

Previous experience of managing and developing similar licensed businesses is essential for the role.  You must also be able to lead and motivate a team, and communicate with people at all levels. Committed and competitive, you will have a strong commercial acumen and knowledge of the current market place, with a natural entrepreneurial flair.

In the general day to day management of the Unit you will be required to meet various deadlines, therefore organisational skills are essential for success in this role.
